Connect to QuickBooks Online
CTS BizSync connects to QuickBooks Online through Intuit's secure OAuth 2.0 authorization. An authorized administrator of the QuickBooks company starts the connection and grants access on Intuit's own consent screen. CTS BizSync never sees or stores your QuickBooks user name or password.
How connecting works
- An administrator initiates authorization with Intuit for the QuickBooks company.
- Intuit displays a consent screen describing the access being requested.
- On approval, Intuit issues CTS BizSync a secure token — no password is shared.
What we request
Access to the company's accounting data (Intuit's Accounting scope), used to review, categorize, and reconcile transactions and to write back reviewed changes.
Reconnecting
If access expires, an administrator re-authorizes through the same Intuit consent flow and CTS BizSync resumes. To remove access, see Disconnect.
